Prime Video is doubling down on its "Reacher" universe. The streamer has handed the Alan Ritchson-led action series an early Season 6 renewal, and the spinoff "Neagley" has been renewed for a second season.

The news continues a hot streak for the franchise, which has become one of Prime Video's signature originals since its 2022 debut. "Reacher," based on Lee Child's bestselling Jack Reacher novels, follows the hulking former military police investigator as he drifts from town to town, pulled into conspiracies he can't walk away from. Ritchson's physical, charismatic take on the character has anchored the show through its run, with each season adapting a different Child novel.

"Neagley," the spinoff centered on Reacher's trusted former Army colleague Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten, extends the universe further. The early renewals signal strong confidence from the streamer in both the flagship and its first spinoff as the franchise expands.

Details on the new seasons, including which novels they will adapt and expected premiere windows, have not yet been announced. Season 6's early pickup puts "Reacher" among the rare streaming series renewed well ahead of its current season's run, a vote of confidence that underscores the show's place in Prime Video's top tier.
